A. Michael Blaker - CEO & President

Michael Blaker is the Founder and President of the nationally known financial planning firm, Senior Consultants. He has been a financial consultant for nearly 25 years and has assisted many seniors with his specialized planning techniques, which have helped many of his clients double or triple their net worth. Josh Blaker - Vice President

Josh Blaker is Vice President of Senior Consultants. Utilizing more than 14 years of sales, marketing, and customer service experience, Josh plays a key role in the success of Senior Consultants. Focusing on the education of seniors, retirees, and pre-retirees using safe money planning, Josh has helped save and preserve millions of dollars for his clients.

Josh has a passion for learning about new accounts and concepts that will help his clients protect their wealth. Josh started assisting his father, Michael Blaker, in 1998 and soon took care of all the underwriting for Senior Consultants. Over the past several years Josh has overseen all aspects of Senior Consultants' business. He loves people and especially helping clients. Josh continues to manage the day-to-day activities of the office with the help of their dedicated staff.

Prior to joining the ranks of the insurance industry, Josh worked, as a new account representative in the business division of Wells Fargo, where he assisted business clients with all their account needs. Josh lives in Gilbert, Arizona with his wife and two sons.

Joy Penman - Executive Assistant

Joy was in the printing industry for over 30 years. This involved commercial and financial typesetting, layout and design. One of the primary areas she specialized in was doing both paper and electronic filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission for publicly held corporations. She has been employed with Senior Consultants for approximately eight years. She is the office manager and handles all the new business for life insurance and annuities. On a personal note she has two daughters, seven grandchildren and 1+ great grandchildren, one cockatiel and two Boston Terriers. She has lived in the Valley since 1958.

Born in Urbana Illinois (S is silent). Moved to Gilbert Arizona in 1990. I have been working for Senior Consultants for three years as the Administrative Assistant and Event Photographer. I am actively involved in my church college group. I love traveling, history and the movies.

Kathy Churchill - Administrative Assistant

Born and raised in Long Beach CA. I've been married for 32 yrs. We have 3 grown sons, and the ladies in their lives, and one grandson. We are very proud of them all. I'm learning to golf and I love to sing (Sweet Adelines for 22 yrs). My careers include: Stay-at-home-Mom, property manager, receptionist, bus driver, phone operator, warehouse, karaoke hostess. I have worked Part time at Senior Consultants for 3 yrs. I have a lot of jobs here, greeting clients, filing, scanning, helping with client events, let's just say whatever they ask for to get the job done!

Jennifer has been in the insurance industry for 7 years and has worked for Senior Consultants since 2007. She is our Director of Marketing and also an Account Executive. She is originally from LaGrange, Illinois and has a son named Conner. You will usually see Conner at our events dancing or even being the announcer at our Bingo Event.

Christine Bruno - Account Executive

Chris migrated here from an east coast farm, and married and raised 2 children and now has 4 grandchildren. She has and is continuing her education in college, and is very close to her bachelor's. She worked at a large corporation for a number of years and was in sales and enjoyed it. Too young to retire, she now works and does something she enjoys very much, which is selling, in the financial advising spectrum. She has been with Senior Consultants since October 2010, and is very happy in a career that is fun, challenging, and educational
